Helping People Know God, Live in Freedom, Discover Purpose and Deliver Hope

How We
Do Community

Sunday Services

It can be a little scary showing up at a new church. We try to make your Sunday experience easy—with relevant, energetic music for worship, scripture engagement that is applicable to your life, and people just like you, who don’t have everything perfect in their life, but love discovering more about Jesus together!

Serve Teams

Lifesong’s Dream Team makes everything go! Everybody has skills and gifts that, when used together, create a vibrant, powerful experience for everyone to feel welcomed, seen, cared for and encouraged. Come visit on a Sunday and you’ll see what we mean!

Small Groups

If there is one thing we know, it’s that you can’t do life alone! We've curated intentional spaces for people to gather to get to know each other more fully while talking about the week’s message, becoming better at managing money, playing disc golf, studying a part of the Bible, and more. There's a fit for you in one or more of them!

Lifesong Kids

Lifesong Kids is where your kids fall in love with Jesus before the world convinces them not to! We’re deeply committed to seeing your kids know Jesus and learn about life with Him in a safe, fun, age-relatable environment so you can worship and grow in the way of Jesus worry free!

Lifesong YTH

Youth Group is a MUST for students, and Lifesong YTH is adamant about helping students fall in love with Jesus before the world convinces them not to. With an environment designed for students, we hang out on Wednesday nights every week. Students get to have a ton of fun of course, but live messages, small group conversations and even live worship nights move your students forward in their faith!

Meet
Our Pastors

David & Ginelle Payne

Pastor David and Ginelle, married in 1992 right out of college, have spent their lives in the local church! Ginelle is the daughter of pioneers of faith in New England, Ernie and Randa Frye, and David, a transplant from Kansas City, was raised by parents David & Nancy Payne who were deeply involved in leading and building the local church there. After years of serving her father’s ministry, and David’s corporate work, God called them to full-time ministry in 1999. Seven years later, they, and their three children, Ashton, Kelsie & Dakota, invited forty people to be part of launching a new, relevant, life-giving, church plant called Lifesong Church.

While meeting for an entire year praying, preparing and planning the launch of Lifesong, the prayer-bathed dream of a church community relevant to the lives of people, presenting the truth of scripture in a relevant way, caring for its community, and endeavoring to be a place where the Love of God is known and felt took shape; but there was no place to meet. After visiting the movie theater in Millbury with some friends, Pastor David was prompted to pursue it as our first church home! God opened doors and accelerated connections and with just a few months of final preparation to launch, Lifesong was able to open its doors at the Blackstone Valley Cinema in Millbury with 394 people showing up to worship, connect and pursue Jesus!

Since the very beginning, the whole family have given their best to honor Jesus with their lives through the local church! Now with two grandsons running around the church, their lives are more full than ever and they continue to lead our church, in the pursuit of reaching 2% of Metro-Worcester, helping them Know God, Live in Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Deliver Hope!
