Healed of Sinus Infections, Herniated Disc, and Cancer

Kate suffered for years with sinus infections, and, despite surgery to help address the cause of them, they persisted and caused her to struggle with regular headaches. As a result, she was facing the likelihood of additional surgery. On Sunday January 8, 2017, a few small group leaders prayed for Kate. They also spent some time talking with both Kate and her husband, Dante, about faith and healing and encouraged Dante to join them in praying for his wife, which he did. Within a few days, the sinus infections, including the headaches they caused, ceased.

A couple weeks later on Sunday January 22nd during a time of corporate prayer at the end of service, Dante sensed the Lord direct him to pray for his back. Since 2005, he had struggled with a herniated disc that caused severe pain. He went regularly for shots to help with this but had been told for years that he needed surgery, which he had just had an initial consultation for. However, Dante proceeded to pray for his back, and, since then, he has been completely pain free!

In June of 2017, Kate found a lump that doctors diagnosed as stage 3 invasive ductal carcinoma (breast cancer). Upon hearing the news, Kate and Dante took Communion together, received prayer, and began standing in faith for Kate’s healing. In the coming months, Kate went through chemotherapy treatment, and, during the fall of 2017 as this was going on, Dante attended The Case for Healing small group while Kate also went through the curriculum from home. Kate completed chemotherapy in January of 2018, and she posted this on Facebook January 24th: “Miracles happen every day, and I have news for you- God has worked a miracle in my body. I had an MRI yesterday to confirm what we already knew- my cancer is GONE. I got the call tonight from my doctor- I had a complete response to chemotherapy- something that rarely happens with breast cancer. The radiologist asked my doctor ‘What surgery did she have?.’ There’s no sign of any cancer. No sign of the 9cm tumor I was told would not be gone with chemo alone, and no sign of the other tumor I felt that initiated this diagnosis. NO SIGN”
