RELATE Boston – A One Day Collaboration with ARC
Tuesday, October 17, 2023
9am to 4pm
About the Event
We are looking forward to linking arms with you for many reasons, but most importantly to advance the name of Jesus and His Kingdom here in the Northeast, together. The 2023 Relate Conference, A One Day Collaboration with ARC Gather (Association of Related Churches), will provide an incredible opportunity for us to get together for building relationships, learning from impactful leaders and having fun. Whether you’re based in Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay, urban Philadelphia, the heart of New York City, the Cape Cod coast, the suburbs of Manchester, or rural Vermont…we can RELATE!
Don’t do ministry alone.
Join us on Tuesday, October 17th, and let’s grow together!
Pastor David & Ginelle Payne
Founders and Lead Pastor
The conference will feature four general sessions and breakouts. Please check back periodically as we add speakers and finalize the schedule.
Pastor Randy Bezet
Pastor Randy Bezet is the founding and lead pastor of Bayside Community Church in Bradenton, Florida, as well as the founder of RELATE. As a pastor and teacher, he focuses on building the local church, sharing the message of Christ, and helping people reach their full potential.
Randy serves on the board of the Association of Related Churches (ARC), and is a board member for Champions Network with Joel Osteen. Randy is also the founder of Relate Coaching: a coaching program focused to help pastors break growth barriers and accomplish the vision God has given them.
Pastor David Payne
Pastor David Payne is the founding and lead pastor of Lifesong Church in Sutton, Massachusetts. As Founder and Lead Pastor, he has led with a passionate vision for the local community with the mission that Lifesong Church reaches 2% of Metro-Worcester helping people come to Know God, Live in Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Deliver Hope.
As the first ARC church plant in New England, Lifesong has been previously recognized, for two consecutive years, as one of the fastest-growing churches in the nation. As a board member of Vision New England, he helps connect and resource the church in New England.
Pastor Chris Goeppner
Pastor Chris Goeppner responded to the call of Jesus to leave his community of 20 years in South Florida to launch Riverbank Church in the Upper Valley of New Hampshire in 2010. He and his beautiful bride, Penny, have been married since 1999. In 2008, the Goeppner’s adopted their two sons, Roman and Jadon, from Siberia. His passion is seeing people take their next step in their relationship with Jesus and seeing the gospel advance in New England! He serves as Lead Pastor at Riverbank Church in White River Junction, VT.
Having grown up in the Philippines and Europe as the son of career missionaries, I felt the call of God on my life at a young age. Now married to my totally perfectly-matched-for-me wife Vicki for 35 years, and blessed to be the father of five absolutely awesome kids and grandfather to one ridiculously amazing boy, I have the joy of serving as part of the team at ARC, and also as the executive Director of Children’s Cup.
Pastor Dave Ripper
Dave Ripper serves as the lead pastor of Crossway Christian Church, a multi-site church in Southern New Hampshire, and as the chaplain for the Boston Bruins. He holds a doctorate in spiritual direction from Fuller Theological Seminary and the Dallas Willard Center for Christian Spiritual Formation at Westmont College. Dave is also the co-author of The Fellowship of the Suffering: How Hardship Shapes Us for Ministry and Mission (IVP, 2018). He and his wife, Erin, a licensed mental health counselor, have two sons, Dallas and Clive, and a daughter, Avila. When Dave is not quoting Dallas Willard, or cheering on the Bruins, he is working towards climbing New Hampshire’s 100 highest and most prominent mountains.
Dr. Vinnie Cappetta, Ph.D.
Vinnie lost his mother and step-father to violent deaths just before his eleventh birthday, but God used this for good as Vinnie committed his life to Christ. Vinnie serves as Counselor in Residence at Crossroads Community Church in Framingham and also serves at a counseling ministry called Check Your Compass, where he focuses on grief, trauma and pre-marital counseling. A native of Connecticut, Vinnie has worked in MetroWest Boston since 1999. He is married to Heather and together they are raising three girls (one in college, one in high school, and one in junior high school).
