One night at worship practice, Joy shared that she had been struggling with periods of temporary vision loss. When she would get up in the middle of the night to take care of one of her children, she found herself losing her vision briefly before regaining it. The doctors were not sure what the cause of this was, but they suggested it may have to do with her blood pressure. She received prayer that night, and the problem ceased.
Additionally, one Sunday morning, Joy was leading worship and was struggling with her breathing as a result of a bout with pneumonia. She was trying to sing, but her lungs wouldn’t fill with air, causing her to become light headed and break into tears. The worship team gathered around her before service, and Pastor Dave and another team member prayed over her. She experienced immediate release and was able to sing clearly with absolutely no issues. After worship, Joy came off the platform and declared with excitement that she knew she was healed as she wasn’t having any problems breathing.
