God has already made us with a wiring and strengths that He never takes away. However, there is even more available by the Holy Spirit for us as Christ-followers. Sometimes spiritual gifts can be unnerving or unfamiliar, but they don’t have to be.

Do you ever find yourself wishing you could speak face to face with Jesus? As wonderful as that would be, while He was here in a physical body, Jesus was only available to one person or one group of people at a time. He said it was actually better for us that He leave so that He could send us the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is now available to each of us 24/7, and He desires to walk with, guide, and work through us on a regular basis. However, our ability to experience the fullness of what He offers…

The journey of discovering all that God is, much less what He has for us, is blurry. The engagement of the Holy Spirit can be just that – blurry. Maybe that’s because He’s depicted as fire, a dove, a wind, and other things in the scripture, so it’s confusing. He has some explicit purposes in our lives that we don’t want to miss out on though!
